Alliance Club

I'm extremely happy to say that my stepmom finally allowed me to join the Alliance club at school. I went to one meeting so far and I loved it!! We talk about LGBTQ issues going on in the world and this whole month (October) is LGBT Awareness Month. Yay! I really hope to help out with the activities that will be put on and hopefully get the chance talk to anyone who needs help or searching for a friend to talk to. I can't wait to get more involved with this group because this is the beginning of a big step in my life and will lead me into career opportunities. I'm pumped!

That is excellent. I wish schools had had alliance clubs when I was your age. What a wonderful opportunity!
